Fun at the 2009 Blue & Gold
By MrBroekhuis | March 12, 2009

A new venue (the First Presbyterian Church in Allentown), record attendance, and line-dancing demonstrations and instructions by the Texas Roadhouse crew made this year’s installment of the Pack 72 Blue & Gold Banquet a huge hit! The food was excellent and plentiful – and capped off by a variety of creative and tasty concoctions by participants in the annual Cub & Bub bake-off. Each den had prepared centerpieces to go along with the “Pioneering” theme – some of them very elaborate!
The line dancing instructions brought on laughter, confusion, and merriment – among participants as well as onlookers. Mr McPeek was especially bold, taking Andy the Armadillo for a twirl before inventing a line dance version of the Birdy Dance.
Many thanks go to the skeleton crew of tireless volunteers who put this year’s banquet together – as well as to all who contributed food and helping hands during the event.
