Pack Hike - July 18th

This year, Pack 72’s mid-summer activity will be a hike along Blue Mountain. I’ll write with more details about the event in a couple of weeks - for now, just the essentials:
When - Saturday July 18th, mid-morning through early afternoon. Rain date will probably be the afternoon of Sunday the 19th (but of course we won’t need it!)
Where - a short stretch of the Appalachian trail. Nothing too treacherous, but with enough ups, downs, trees, and rocks to keep it fun. Suitable for the youngest scouts in the pack. We’ll meet at Camp Spirit and carpool from there.
Why - to have fun, and get keep the pack going through summer! This is also one of two pack activities that counts towards the Summertime Activity Award for July (the other one is resident camp).
What do I need to do? - nothing, for now. Just jot it down, and sit tight for more details to follow. But if you figure you’ll be coming along, I’d appreciate a quick email back. No firm commitment, just so I have a feel for how many may be attending.
