Pack Hike Ahoy!

Last Saturday was just perfect for our Pack Hike. Warm and sunny but not hot, and even the bugs stayed away! A small but enthusiastic band of scouts, parents, and siblings took off on a short section of the Appalachian Trail, with a final climb to the Allentown shelter. Lots of things to see along the way: awesome mushrooms, a gently burbling spring, a toad, daddy longlegs, and through-hikers. The only “are we there yet?” came from a parent – go figure!
