Fall cub event
What:Â Family camping at the Cub Fall Event.
Where:Â Trexler Scout Reservation in Akelaland in Jonas, PA.
Why:Â To have fun, try camping, and meet people from other Packs.
This is an all day event for any cubscout within the North Valley district who wishes to experience a sample day of summer resident camp. The fall event is held at Akelaland located on the Trexler Scout Reservation.
Activities vary from year to year. There’s always archery, BB, and crafts; other activities in years past have included rocket launch, rope making and tying, fishing, campfire cooking, boat rides, and much much more.
Friday evening is the Webelos Overnight portion. All Webelos scouts must partake in a Webelos overnight activity with their den - this overnight can serve to help fill that requirement.
Cost includes: Registration for the event, event patch, Friday night snack, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack, and Sunday breakfast.
(Option: For the day only - $_ per Scout – Registration opens at 8:00, events run 9 AM- 4:30 PM. Includes event and patch – NO FOOD. You would need to bring your own.)
What to bring:Â Class A uniform, Class B uniform, Tent, Sleeping bag, Sleeping pad,
Pillow, Rain gear, Flashlight, Water bottle, Clothes for warm and cold  weather, more than one pair of sneakers or boots, toothbrush, tooth paste, comb, wash cloth and towel.
