Camp Spirit Cleanup Days
Twice a year, one weekend in fall, and one weekend in spring, members of Pack 72 and Troop 72 gather to keep Camp Spirit in shipshape. Many routine maintenance jobs as well as special projects get tackled these days. It’s a great opportunity to get to know more members of the Camp Spirit community, while doing your best for the Pack and Troop.
The cleanup days are usually announced a month or two ahead of time. You need not commit for the whole weekend, or even all day - just show up for as long as you can. There will be a list of jobs that need doing inside the lodge. There are lots of tools available, but it never hurts to take some of your own, and a pair of work gloves.
If you come on Saturday, you may just find some food at lunchtime. No guarantees!
