Advancement Chair
The Advancement Chair’s main responsibilities are to maintain the Pack’s Advancement records database and to purchase and prepare awards to be distributed at the advancement recognition ceremonies held during monthly Pack meetings.
- Have a working knowledge of the Tiger Cub, Cub Scout, and Webelos Scout advancement plans.
- Maintain the Packmaster database, perform program updates as released, and provide instructions for downloading, installing, and using Packmaster to all current and new leaders.
- Run monthly advancement report; submit appropriate forms to council for review; purchase badges, belt loops, and other awards from the scout shop; and prepare awards for distribution.
- Distribute individual advancement records to Webelos crossing over to Boy Scouts.
- Prepare annual Service Star, Attendance Awards, and Quality Unit awards, as necessary.
