Fogelsville Cub Scout Pack 72

Awards

Besides the recognition scouts receive as they progress through the requirements and electives for their rank, there are plenty of other awards Cub Scouts can earn along the way. Each comes with a special badge, pin, or loop to be worn on the Scout’s uniform. Awards earned in the previous month are presented during the Advancements part of each pack meeting.

Listed below are the more common awards:

Academic and Sports Loops and Pins - to recognize learning and achieving proficiency in new skills

Leave No Trace Award – Help protect the environment by remembering that while you are there, you are a visitor. When you visit the outdoors, take special care of the area. Leave everything just as you find it.

Attendance Award – Attend at least 90% of all den and pack meetings throughout the year, and help out on the drop-off or pick-up day of Scouting For Food. This award is presented at the last pack meeting of the year.

Summertime Pack Award – Attend at least one event in each of the months of June, July, and August.
